MTS was one of the major ISPs providing an internet connection using 3G USB dongles in India. However, it recently sent a notice that it would no longer provide a 3G internet connection in certain telecom circles. Subscribers were told to migrate the connection to some other ISP.

In these circles, other ISPs/Telecom companies took advantage of this decision by MTS to offer special packages. Some of these ISPs include Reliance and Airtel.
